How we keep this catalog current
What gets re-read, how often, and what happens to a pair that goes out of stock.
Prices
Every price on this site comes out of our own product data and is rewritten when it moves. The catalog was last updated on September 2, 2026, and at that update it held 100 styles in stock across 609 size and colorway combinations we hold a price for. Where a figure here and the figure at the till disagree, the till is the one that counts.
A pair we cannot currently buy does not appear at all. It is not hidden behind a “currently unavailable” label: it comes off the site at the next build and comes back by itself when it returns to stock, because the catalog behind these pages keeps asking about it either way.
Sizes, fiber content and pocket counts
These come from the same product data and are rebuilt from it on every pass, so nobody types a size run into a paragraph by hand. The size run of a style is every size it is made in, read across all of its colorways; which of them are in stock on a given morning is a question for the checkout, not for a page that is rebuilt on a schedule. Fiber percentages are printed as the label carries them, and a style whose label we do not hold gets no percentage rather than a guess. A pocket count is the number sewn in.
Pictures
Every photograph on this site is of the colorway being sold. Where a manufacturer frame carries a marketing banner printed into the image, we crop the banner off rather than caption around it, and a picture that argues with what is written beside it is pulled instead.
Claims about cloth, sun and labels
Anything on this site that touches UPF ratings, fiber labeling, care instructions or garment flammability is written under a published source rather than over one. The register below is the whole of it, and every entry was opened and read on September 2, 2026 before a link was put on it.
Corrections
If a size run on this site argues with the label sewn into the pair in your hand, write to move@theewedoos.com with the page and the figure. It gets fixed at the next update, and we say what changed. The rest of what Ewedoos will and will not print about itself is set out in the editorial standards.
