Ewedoos winter pair

Fleece-lined means the inner face of the knit is brushed into a nap that holds warm air against the leg, and on this shelf that nap goes into three different cuts. The plain fleece-lined legging is the everyday one: the same high waist and side pockets as the summer pair, with the lining, for a walk, a school run or a cold office. The water-resistant pair adds a finish that beads light rain and a reflective strip down the shin, and its 87 percent polyester, 13 percent spandex knit is the one for a run in January. The flare is the same lining under a bell-bottom leg. Around them sit the joggers with cargo pockets, the thermal top with a zipped pocket at the chest, and the snow pants, which are a different animal altogether: a waterproof softshell, an insulated lining, four zip pockets, reinforced knees and zips at the ankle that open over a ski boot.

How warm are Ewedoos fleece-lined leggings?

Warm enough for a walk, a school run or a cold office, and warmer than any unlined legging, because the brushed inner face holds a layer of warm air against the leg. They are a lining, not an insulated pant: for a day on a hill in January, the snow pants are the pair, and for a run in the cold, the water-resistant fleece-lined pair.

Are Ewedoos fleece-lined leggings waterproof?

The water-resistant pair beads light rain and wet grass and wears that finish off slowly with washing. It is not waterproof, and the card does not say it is. The snow pants are the waterproof pair on this shelf.

Do Ewedoos snow pants fit over a ski boot?

Yes. The ankle has a zip that opens the hem wide enough to go over a boot, and the knees are reinforced and roomy for the bend. Four zip pockets, an adjustable back waist and an insulated fleece lining under a waterproof softshell.

Do the Ewedoos fleece-lined joggers have real pockets?

Side pockets at the hip, real ones, deep enough for a phone and a pair of gloves. They are a thermal sweatpant cut, looser than the legging, with an elastic high waist, and the Black Water Resistant colorway adds a finish on the outside that sheds light rain.
